Hi, I’m Murat, a fashion and advertising photographer based in Istanbul. For nearly a decade, I’ve photographed campaigns, editorials and lookbooks for major brands and local labels across Türkiye.
My photographs take shape on set through light, colour and simple composition, with the person in front of the camera at the centre. I look for a direct gaze, a strong silhouette and enough movement to bring the frame to life. Whether it’s a celebrity campaign or a quiet studio portrait, I want to create images that feel immediate and hold your attention.
I’m also a co-founder of Edition8, a creative agency in Istanbul. We bring photography, creative direction, casting, set design and post-production together, taking campaigns from the first mood board to final delivery.
